The Cambridge Multicultural Arts Center (CMAC) staff positions include a full-time Executive Director, a part-time Administrative and Financial Assistant, a part-time Marketing Assistant, and a part-time Production Assistant. | Shelley Neill | Laura Ligouri | Amanda Tricomi | Jeff Robinson Executive Director, Shelley Neill will begin her 10th year at the Multicultural Arts Center in September 2008. She serves as CMAC's Artistic Director and coordinates overall productions including the scheduling of events. She has a thirty-five year history in non-profit administration with a focus on special events organizing. Her background includes organizational and institutional planning and implementation. Administrative & Financial Assistant, Laura Ligouri has recently joined the Multicultural Arts Center in order to assist with daily organizational and financial operations. Laura is currently a doctoral candidate at Brandeis University where her work encompasses the theatrical arts and the ways in which the arts encompass the cultural voice at points of crisis, specifically focusing on the Israeli/Palestinian conflict. Laura has been dancing for over twelve years and is the founder and artistic director of Vadalna Tribal Dance Co., a modern, industrial twist on contemporary belly dance currently situated out of Jamaica Plain, MA. Marketing Assistant, Amanda Tricomi is the primary contact for event rentals and gallery coordination. She is also responsible for web upkeep and general graphic design needs at the Multicultural Arts Center. Amanda is a 2005 graduate of Massachusetts College of Art with a Fine Arts degree in Illustration, and also works as a freelance artist and designer. Production Assistant, Jeff Robinson serves as the primary contact for performers and planners as events move into "production mode". An actor, director, playwright, musician and radio disc jockey, Jeff performs with the Jeff Robinson Trio every Sunday at the Lizard Lounge in Cambridge. He has directed several plays for Our Place Theatre Project in Boston. He also produced a Poetry/Spoken Word CD for Rounder Records. His one man play about jazz legend Charlie "Bird" Parker entitled "Live Bird" has appeared off-Broadway in New York, NY, and at the Blue Room on 18th & Vine in Kansas City, MO, where Parker was born.
